The Cash Sheet tracks the daily cash position across all accounts and credit cards, then addresses the timing of Receivables and Payables.
The Budget sheet is when we try to the best of our abilities to "Call our shot". This is the rock foundation of a company and the level of success we hope for is directly tied to our ability to remain disciplined to this document.
A PO is when we want to request spending money. The PO will be submitted to the Accounting Meeting to be reviewed and paid.
There will be times when our crystal ball will have been foggy, and we have underestimated the amount of money needed for a certain budget component. The Request process is how we document increasing that budget.
What is Triple Bottom Line Accounting?
3BL Accounting is the process and action that results in measuring and optimizing not only the financial bottom line of a company's performance, but also the impact that company or project has on the Earth and how it feels to work with and within the company or project.
Is your business making people happy? Does it provide joy and will the experience or product be remembered?
How do we dispose of trash and recycling? How do we package? How do our associates disopose of trash and recycle?
Admittedly, without proper financial management, inclusive of strong and connected marketing, we cannot fund the other two ideals. 3BL
What are the "Zones" about?
In Permaculture the Zones are the invisible lines that segregate how much energy and attention we give to a certain part of our garden or homestead. In our business, those zones have been translated to segregate each department into categories based on how much we have to interact with them. THE 12 JEWLEZ METHOD OF ACCOUNTING
As a functiion of growth both within the business and within a person, having a structured approach to defining when and how to grow is very important. The RZA wrote the book "The Tao of Wu", and within it's pages and within his music are mathematical principles for how to be the best human you can be. Applying these stages to a business, a decision or a series of transactions can help you see various angles and consequences. We've developed a system to track these moves, and we look forward to sharing with our clients.

Once contracts are in place, budgets are aligned, and accounting meetings are consistently attended with full participation, a steady calm settles over the business. The noise of uncertainty quiets, and the path ahead—though sometimes obscured like a dense fog—becomes one of focus and intention. In this zone, trust and transparency flow naturally through the organization, attracting alignment like magnets.
It is in this environment that creativity thrives. If we have saved wisely, resources can be directed toward art. If we have managed our time with care, we can invest in planting gardens. The discipline of structure creates the space for beauty to flourish.
